"Ones mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions."
-- Oliver Wendell Holmes

Which way is the market is moving -- up, down or sideways?  Does it matter?  The trick is being in the right funds at the right time.  Fund-Track is a mutual fund timing and sector investing tool that provides fund ratings based on price trend strength. In separate ranking systems it enables investors to compare mutual funds, Fidelity Select funds and Exchange Traded funds to find the market leaders for superior portfolio performance.

What Makes Fund-Track different from other newsletters is that the model portfolio performances above are not just claims.  The model transactions that were made to achieve these returns are shown (the what, when and why).  For a detailed look at this see the Fund-Track Performance page, and the Fund-Track Fidelity Select Performance page and the ETF Performance page.

What Is Fund-Track

Fund-Track was founded upon a simple premise:

bulletRegardless of the market's direction there always exists mutual funds that exhibit superior performance because different industrial sectors, asset classes and/or international regions react differently to various economic conditions.
bulletOne can find these funds by constantly tracking and comparing a diverse group of top no-load mutual funds, and find them well before getting publicized in the financial press and their periodic rankings.

Few, if any funds perform consistently well.   Mutual funds usually have a particular style that works well in some market climates, but not in others.  Mutual fund leadership changes because economic conditions change.  Performance leadership in the market is clear in hindsight but not possible to forecast.  There isn't a need to predict what funds will be the next leaders.  One just has to invest in the funds that are presently performing well.  The highest-ranking funds in Fund-Track are those that are taking advantage of the current conditions and thus doing well.  They are invested in the regions, sectors or asset classes, and using the styles that are currently succeeding.

Fund-Track is a system that provides a simple, logical and mechanical method of tracking the funds you are holding and determining how they are performing relative to others.   With Fund-Track one can find the top fund managers while they are performing well, and moving to others when they are not.  It finds top no-load funds while they are trending well and not "after" their gains have been touted by the financial press.  The system was developed over years of relative strength and momentum type testing and analysis.  It is a mutual fund ratings system that tracks and ranks 200 diverse top no load funds daily, based on the strength of their current price trends.  It can be used to compare mutual funds and select the best current performers without trading frequently.  The Fidelity Select and ETF Fund-Track systems are separate and similar ranks that track their respective funds as well.

These systems do not involve learning and applying complex and time consuming technical analysis techniques, nor involve studying difficult to understand charts.  Fund-Track is not a "Get Rich Quick" scheme.  Through utilizing current data, personally proven procedures and hands on experience within this site, and good trading discipline on your part you should be able to avoid some common investing pitfalls and add a useful tool to help achieve your investment goals.

Example:  In 2002 The market was down considerably (Nasdaq: - 31.5%) but there were still no-load mutual funds that performed very well including:

     Fund Type 2002 Return
    Prudent Bear Bear Market 63.4%
US Global Investors Eastern Europe International - Europe 34.7%
American Century International Bond International - Bond 23.7%
American Century, Target 2020 Bond Bond 21.5%
FBR Small Cap Financial Sector - Financial 18.7%
RS Global Natural Resources Sector - Natural Resources 17.0%

Their performance placed them high in the Fund-Track ranks at different times during the year.  That's why the Fund-Track single model portfolio returned 27.7% for the year despite the overall dismal performance of the market.

It is currently difficult to select good funds with the more then 8,000 available to choose from.  Most Investors buy into top mutual funds based on their "past" performance records.  Commonly investors don't obtain better returns because they construct portfolios with last year's winners.  Successful investing involves finding the best no-load funds that are capitalizing on current economic conditions and then making adjustments to your fund portfolio as those conditions change.

Take some time to look through this site. See what it has to offer, how and why it works, how it can be used, and if it may be right for you.  A good place to start is with the About page where you can see in much greater detail: What Is It, How It Works, Why it Works  Is It Right For You?.
